Power BI Blog: New Format Pane

Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Power BI blog series. This week, we look at the new Format pane in Preview.

If you have ever spent (considerable) time guessing and testing what various format settings do, you might be pleased to know that the latest Power BI update sees a redesigned Format pane.

Apparently, Microsoft has spent the past few months going card by card, property by property to build a more consistent and easier to use formatting experience. You can see for yourself how it’s worked out by turning on the preview switch: File -> Options and settings -> Options -> Preview Features -> New Format pane.
