There’s another update for Get & Transform this month — albeit just the one. This update is available as part of an Office 365 subscription.

One of the most frequent requests from users using the Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse connectors in Excel has been to leverage Azure Active Directory Authentication in order to connect to Azure services.

With this update, Microsoft introduced its own "Microsoft Account" option within the Credentials dialog for the Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse connectors, allowing you to authenticate using their Azure Active Directory account credentials.
