Some of our readers may be using Web Excel, the on-line version of Excel that can be accessed via a web browser, frustrated by its lack of functionality in certain areas. You may like to know Microsoft has a public survey available regarding how shapes might work in said platform (in the interim?).

Presently, the web version of Excel does not yet support shapes, like the star shape shown in Excel (above). Microsoft has commissioned a survey to understand web Excel users’ opinions on this subject. It is a rare chance interact directly with Redmond and influence the outcome.
