Unhide Multiple Sheets November 2020
13 November 2020
We have all been here. You have an Excel file and you need to unhide some hidden sheets. There are a few of them, and you know it’s time to get Repetitive Strain Injury. You right-click to unhide sheets…
…and then you see it’s time to unhide them one at a time:
(Sigh.)
WELL, NOT ANY MORE!!
Now, with Office 365 Insider / Beta / Nigel (whatever it’s called this week…), there has been an update! Look what happens now:
[No, it doesn’t make your row size grow – it’s a screenshot from a different PC!]
After 30,000 years of Excel (maybe a slight exaggeration), you can now unhide more than one sheet at a time using either CTRL or SHIFT! Ladies and gentlemen, I can confirm we have exited the Dark Ages: industrial revolution here we come.
As we say, this is an Office 365 Insider / Beta update, but you should see it in other variations of Office 365 soon. As always, it’s less likely to come to the “perpetual” licences any time soon (if at all). Don’t shoot me; I’m just the messenger…
